Leaving Mozilla

It was a difficult decision to make, but I am leaving Mozilla effective July 31, 2009 to pursue another opportunity. The ride at Mozilla has been exciting and I am sure I will miss working with the great people in Mozilla and the community.

I wish everybody the best of luck and hope Firefox will go from strength to strength and of course that Fennec will be as big a success as Firefox – or even bigger :)

Update: As have been written several places (last 2 links in Danish), I am joining Nokia in August.

Uh, hard to believe there can be a *better* opportunity than working for Mozilla! ;-)

I hope it won’t affect the Fennec project and I wish you all the best for your next move.

Christian, you will be missed. Sad to see a true Viking leave Mozilla, but I trust that you’ll stay in touch with the community! :)

With this departure, I think future of Fennec project is dead. Mozilla doesn’t want mobile browser any more? Who will replace him?

@Fennec: It isn’t likely that I will continue working on Fennec, but I am sure that other people in the community will continue the work.
